Uncle bernard treated us to eat at this restaurant at Mandarin hotel today. Its a buffet lunch at $30.80 per person for lunch. All the food here is damn nice..! This buffet is so worth it and imagine having all these nice food at unlimited portions! the char siew pau is so fluffy and the filling inside is really nice. Then there is the fried mango and prawn roll and the wasabi mayo prawn! super nice laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa In the middle is the carrot cake..super nice and fragrant. pardon me for that little pic.. Lobster and corn soup See that little siew mai there? i tell u! its damn nice!! The pumpkin cake..soooo fragrant This is the hargow and cereal toufu.. i ordered chrysanthemum and apple jelly and mango puree with lime sorbet. no words to describe them..delicious? The custard bun! it left me speechless... The malay cake and crystal dumpling..
The food at this restaurant is really really nice. Every dish that we ordered was very delicious and the Dim sum here can really match up to those in Hongkong. Super worth coming!!
After that we went to uncle bernard's house together to drink coffee has he just bought a coffee maker machine that can brew all sorts of coffee..latte, cappucino,espresso..u name it. Uncle bernard made an espresson for me! soooo fragrant and nice. it was so relaxing to sip coffee at uncle bernard's resort like house...arrrrr..nice.. then he made this again for me upon request. Looks like a normal cuppucino? it is actually a chocolate mint cappucino! my favourite laaa! uncle bernard's toilet..can u see? the toilet is soo nice..like some toilet u get in a high class bali hotel.. oh and uncle bernard's wife is such a good artist.. she has a gallery at the top level of her house and this is an example of how good her drawings are..super good.. Enjoying myself....
After 2 hours of chit chatting and enjoyment at uncle bernard's house, we then went out again together to have dinner together! went to liang court to eat at the usual ramen restaurant that we always go at basement 1. Steven and i tried the mentaiko onigiri..very nice deep fried prawns? i forgot what exactly is it called. Sushi....
I'm so happy today and we had lots of good food and really good coffee..Uncle bernard said that we're going to meet up again next sunday and he's gonna bring us eat good food again! sooo looking forward to it!
